Wooden icon made in Romania, at the end of the 19th century , in the tempera on wood technique, with dimensions of 18 x 15 cm. The work depicts St. George slaying the dragon , one of the most symbolic Christian representations of the victory of good over evil.
Decorated with a marked silver ribbon , accompanied by the inscription "Romania" and the author's mark "AD", the icon combines artistic value and religious craftsmanship with spiritual charge. It is ideal for collections of old icons , but also as a gift with symbolic value for special occasions.
