Obie Platon (b. 1987, Iasi) is a Romanian visual artist known for the fusion of symbolism, philosophy and science in his works. With a background in architecture at the "Ion Mincu" University in Bucharest, Platon began his artistic journey in 1999, evolving from graffiti and breakdancing to painting, installations and conceptual sculptures.
His works are inspired by Platonic geometry and ancient philosophy, while also reflecting influences from Romanian culture, social beliefs, and popular imagery. Through his art, Platon challenges viewers to reflect on the connections between people, ideas, and the world around them.
