David Podut (b. 2004, Bucharest) is a young Romanian artist who combines contemporary realism with digital tools and new visual media. A student at NABA – University of Applied Arts in Milan, specializing in Creative Technologies, David explores the border areas between painting, digital design, augmented reality and visual interaction.
His artistic practice is based on digital sketches and compositions made with the help of creative software, proposing a modern aesthetic and a vision in which art is no longer just an object, but also an experience. His inspiration comes from the desire to order the chaos of the real world and to create works that provoke reactions in the physical environment, even if they originate in the virtual.
